Urban Boxes project is located in Hangzhou's Industrial Zone, The idea of the Chinese Government was to retrieve the old structures of the steel mills converting them into a multifaceted commercial and recreational area. In this project, the two North and South blocks of the former steel mills were taken into account and the restructuring of the entire blocks was analyzed, respecting the existing structures. In the drawings are some preliminary and distributive studies on how it could be the commercial and recreational area.
